Welcome to Noordwijk aan Zee
Noordwijk aan Zee is a picturesque seaside town on the South Holland coast, situated between Katwijk and Zandvoort in the famous flower bulb region. Particularly in spring, the surrounding fields burst into vibrant color, creating a spectacular natural display. With its 13 km of sandy beach and one of the largest dune areas in the Netherlands just behind, Noordwijk is perfect for long coastal walks and bike rides.

Convenient Travel Options and Day Trips
Major cities like Amsterdam and Rotterdam are less than an hour away by car. However, public transport offers a stress-free alternative: frequent bus services connect Noordwijk to Leiden Central Station, where trains run to all major destinations. Another option is Sassenheim Station along the A44, which offers free parking. From there, regular trains depart for Amsterdam and Rotterdam. Round-trip tickets (Dagretour) are available at the station ticket machines, and children between 7 and 11 can get a Railrunner ticket for just €2.50.
